These are the beautiful women who introduced me to the world of proper tea drinking - my family. That's me on the top right hand corner as a college student nearly 20 years ago! For Mothers Day, my cousin Jessica took all the ladies in the family to high-tea at a sweet cottage-style tea house in Pasadena called The Tea Rose Garden. This was the first time I ever had English style tea in all of it's caffeinated delight! I owe it to that day and my family for my obsession with tea parties.

I've since had a lot of tea and hosted a lot of tea parties. I've gotten cheeky with them by pairing with various types of alcohols which seem to be a popular occurrence.
If you're not a fan of tea... I bet I can convert you! Maybe you thought it was bitter or it reminds you of being sick 'cause that's the only time you ever have it. I assure you, just like a good cocktail, we just have to find the right one for you to sip on.
