Whipped Coffee

AKA Dalgona Coffee is like a reversed latte; this drink-from-heaven has got the milk and ice on the bottom then all the caffeine on top in a fluffy whip. Take a picture but then it's a pain in the ass to try to mix that whip into the already too-small-for-it cup. In reality, just pour the whole damn thing into a much larger mug or adult sippy-cup (tumbler) so it blends together and you can drink it right. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS:

2 tbsp Instant coffee granules

2 tbsp sugar OR monk fruit sweetener for a no-calorie alternative (tastes exactly the same)

2 cups of ice

1-2 cups milk or milk alternative like Vanilla Almond Milk

INSTRUCTIONS:

1) In a large bowl, combine the coffee, sugar, and monk sweetener. Add 2 tbsp of hot water and beat with a hand mixer or hand-mix for 2-3 minutes until it forms into a whip.

2) Fill a Insta-worthy glass with ice and milk. Top with the whipped coffee mixture. Take a picture, post it with #cookingwithmargot then dump it into a sippy-cup, mix it with a straw and drink that mother down!


MAKE IT SUPER EXTRA:

Take 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 tablespoons of vanilla paste and 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream. Whip with a hand mixer for 3-5 minutes until thick. Fill cup in this order: 1) Ice 2) Milk 3) Vanilla Whip 4) Coffee Whip. IT'S SOOO DAMN GOOD!


or just make it boozy by adding half milk and half Bailey's Irish Cream.
